I See London, I See France

{BCBGeneration dress, Anthropologie sweater, b.tempted bra, Marc Fisher shoes}

We all know the age-old saying “I see London, I see France, I see such and such’s underpants.” Well, it seems as if that has become acceptable, at least in the fashion world. Now, with the exception of some runway shows and some pop stars, it doesn’t mean walking around in just your skivvies. Look at the Marc Jacobs designed fall 2011 ready-to-wear collection from Louis Vuitton with the high-waisted undies. Now, look at this article from Vogue.co.uk. See what I mean? Well, my take on this was a bit more subtle. I wore a low neck and lace back BCBGeneration dress with a red and black b.tempted bra that just peaked out. Why did I choose this route? Well, those stick-on bras don’t work for me and a camisole would have altered the look of the lace in the back, which is the show stopper, so I just went for it, and, I must say, I wasn’t too disappointed. Plus, I figured I was in good company with Sienna Miller, Ashley OlsenZoe Saldana and Chloë Sevigny, right? But, remember with this trend, less is more–literally.
{More adventures with Flat Lauren. Yes, I got more looks with her than with a bra peeking out!}
