Lauren Stucky Designs

I first learned about designer Lauren Stucky from obtaining her business card from my boyfriend’s father. He obtained said business card from a friend of Lauren’s on an airplane while traveling back home from the Rose Bowl Game. This is a moment that I can only describe as serendipitous (one of my favorite words). Since then I have been in contact with Lauren and have been perpetually in awe of her incredible designs. So to give you a bit of background on the designer, Lauren grew up in Portland, Oregon (where I am currently living. See! Serendipitous.) After majoring in Fashion Design from FIDM L.A. Lauren became and L.A. based designer with a timeless, artistic European vibe. Lauren captures the look of luxury through her designs and choice of materials, while infusing a refined edge and sophistication. From her first collection in spring of 2011, she has only continued to grow as a designer and to refine her unique aesthetic. Now we all know that I love leather and fur and those are two materials that Lauren uses and uses oh so well. From her dresses to jackets, all the pieces are wearable and complement a woman with a sense of style. Basically since the first day her business card was handed to me, I have been in love with the looks that Lauren Stucky designs and am so excited to finally share some of her amazing images with you.
