Fight Like A Girl
October is officially here, which means it is officially breast cancer awareness month. There are so many ways to get involved and to raise awareness for breast cancer awareness and that raising awareness is made a bit easier. From shopping for a cure to donating to racing for a cure—the options are endless. Hell, there are even wines for the cure (yes, you can drink for the cure.) Also, this month essie (one of my favorite nail lines) has a breast cancer awareness collection of gorgeous pink shades. On a more serious note, one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. Moms, daughters, sisters, wives, friends, girlfriends—breast cancer doesn’t care. It doesn’t care about your hopes and dreams; it doesn’t care about your friends or family; it doesn’t care about you. And something like that, well it just needs to be defeated. So this month what will you do to raise awareness and help beat breast cancer for good?
